Canberra's top 3 landmarks:

1-  Australian War Memorial

Completed in 1941, the Australian Memorial began in France and moved to Australia after World War I, symbolizing the memory of Australian soldiers and members of its armed forces killed in war.

The Australian Memorial contains three main parts: the first is the mausoleum with the tomb of the unknown soldier, the second is the memorial exhibitions, the third part is a research centre, as well as a national military museum, so the Australian Memorial is one of Australia's most important attractions.

2- Parliament House Australia

One of Australia's most beautiful tourist attractions, the Australian Parliament Building, a venue for parliamentary meetings in Canberra, and in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II, opened in May 1988 at a cost of about $1 billion.

The Parliament Building was designed to receive an estimated 100,000 visits from the public each year through the large halls leading to the entrances, and as the terrorist attacks intensified, parliament had to be secured more than it was, so cars were prevented from reaching those halls by building barriers.

3- Lake Burley Griffin

Lake Burley Griffin is one of Australia's most important attractions, which tourists are keen to visit when travelling to Australia, and was initially designed in 1920, but due to World War II and the financial recession, work on the lake has been suspended for nearly 30 years, but work resumed in 1950.

Lake Burley Griffin is designed to parallel the region's natural features, the hub of Canberra, and on its sides are the National Gallery, the National Museum, the National Library, the Australian National University and the Supreme Court, and the Australian Parliament Building is nearby.

The lake is mainly surrounded by gardens, and the lake allows visitors to engage in activities such as canoeing and fishing, making it a great destination when travelling to Australia.
